Balmoral put on a party dress for Lighting the Harbour night before Christmas
Volunteer work sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays having resumed, there have been but few dry and bright days so far this year. Deck maintenance is a battle to keep the rain out.
DONATIONS WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED, TO HELP FUND TIMBER & PITCH FOR WORK TO THE TRADITIONAL DECKS.

21st February
Paddle Steamer Preservation Society (PSPS) meets on board from 2.00 – 16.30 for an illustrated talk by Tim Ryan “The History of Beachley to Aust ((Severn Princess)”. Visitors welcome subject to numbers, if interested please contact Dave on events@mvbalmoral.com
Friday 27th February

- then in the evening – The brilliant Lady NADE singing, playing and hosting music on board; free entry (donations very welcome) with the bar open;

Saturday 28th February
- Open Ship 11.45 – 5pm
- then later The fantastic CEILI HOUSE BAND will be again be bringing the ship’s bar to Irish life and more on Saturday evening. Free entry (donations very welcome) with the bar open; Doors: 7pm Music: 8–11pm.
Saturday 7th March
- Ship Open for the first day of National Lottery Open Week (Heritage) – for details including for special tours see their “Good Causes” website
- then later The FAB TWINS The 70s pop cover duo with a rockingly good beat – Free entry (donations very welcome) with the bar open; Doors: 7pm Music: 8–11pm.
Tuesday 7th April
- SCIENCE CAFE– from Bob Foster Photography. Returning on board after a break with “Butterfly brains and navigation” by Max Farnworth, Bristol University. Then a regular First Tuesday of the month. For detail of the topics – https://www.bobfosterphotography.com/sciencecafe
- Balmoral’s Lounge Bar opens 7pm, talk begins 7.45pm.

Our Tuesday and Friday volunteer work days continue. If you would like to help please contact us through the website or at events@mvbalmoral.com. Beautiful ship and fantastic tours - loved the engine room!

Wildlife spotting was sublime from the ship, porpoises, dolphins, seals, seabirds, stunning views of the Channel and islands, (Steep & Flat Holm) Exmoor Coast and the Great Hangman. Brass band playing, happy crew and passengers!
